2019 Course Updates Due to Bridge Work

International Individual & International Team Event:
Swim (.63 miles): The race start will be on the beach in front of the foot bridge. Racers will be called to enter the river in age wave groups. Swim waves will be sent off at 2 minute intervals on a buoy-marked course. We highly recommend wetsuits. When the athletes have completed the swim they will exit the water, run up the chute and to the transition area.. Click here for a mapmyrun map >

Bike (24.48 miles): The athletes will exit the transition area and mount their bikes in a designated "mount" zone. The athletes will ride their bikes right onto Nash’s Mill Road and at the intersection, take a right onto Colrain Road. Athletes will continue down Colrain Road that turns into Plain Road. Continue onto Green River Road until Eunice Williams Drive where you will make a U-turn. Follow Green River Road and continue right on Green River Road at the intersection of Plain Road. Veer left onto Colrain Road. Turnaround at Plain Road and repeat this loop for a total of 4 loops. On final loop turn left onto Nash’s Mill Road toward transition area. Dismount bike before turning left into transition area.

Run (6.51 miles): The athletes will exit transition area and turn right onto Nash’s Mill Road and at the intersection, take a right onto Colrain Road. Athletes will continue down Colrain Road, that turns into Plain Road. Continue onto Green River Road until Eunice Williams Drive where you will make a U-turn. Follow Green River Road and continue right on Green River Road at the intersection of Plain Road. Veer left onto Colrain Road. Turn left onto Nash’s Mill Road toward transition area, and then turn left into the first chute to Finish Line.

Sprint Individual & Sprint Team Event:
Swim (.31 miles): The race start will be opposite the swim exit chute on the far side of river. Racers will be called to enter the river in age wave groups. Swim waves will be sent off at 3 minute intervals on a buoy-marked course. We highly recommend wetsuits. Bike (12.49 miles): The athletes will exit the transition area and mount their bikes in a designated "mount" zone. The athletes will ride their bikes right onto Nash’s Mill Road and at the intersection, take a right onto Colrain Road. Athletes will continue down Colrain Road that turns into Plain Road. Continue onto Green River Road until Eunice Williams Drive where you will make a U-turn. Follow Green River Road and continue right on Green River Road at the intersection of Plain Road. Veer left onto Colrain Road. Turnaround at Plain Road and repeat this loop for a total of 2 loops. On final loop turn left onto Nash’s Mill Road toward transition area. Dismount bike before turning left into transition area.

Run (3.08 miles): Once back at the transition area, the athletes will re-rack their bikes and head back out on their run. Athletes will head back out taking a right onto Nash’s Mill Road, bear right onto Colrain Road that changes into Plain Road, continue on Plain Road and turn left onto Meadow Lane. At the end of Meadow Lane turn left onto Colrain Road. Turn left onto Nash’s Mill Road toward transition area, and then turn left into the first chute to Finish Line.
