Registration may be done on-line through August 2, 2008 05:00 AM Pacific Time at Active.com.  Greenfield Triathlon will split the Active.com service fee.  You may also sign up in person on Saturday, August 2th at the Greenfield Swimming Pool Recreation Area on Nash's Mill Rd. between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  You may also download and print a PDF version of the registration and mail it to the Greenfield Recreation Department (see address below) to arrive not later than Friday, August 1st.  We cannot accept fax registrations. No advanced registration confirmation will be sent but we will keep an updated list of participants here at this site.  This list is typically updated every 24 - 48 hours starting mid-July... more often as the race approaches.

USAT & the Greenfield Triathlon Association accept NO PROXIES if an athlete's (or minor athletes parent's) signature is missing!

PACKET PICKUP / REGISTRATION   Top

New USAT Rule: All competitors must pick up their own packet and

                                must present a photo ID.  No exceptions.

Saturday August 2, 2008 between 4:00-6:00 PM at the swim area.
Sunday - August 3, 2008 Packet pick up only, 6:15 to 7:15 AM.
 

TRANSFERS   Top
Race participants MAY transfer their registration to another athlete (allow another athlete to compete in their place) up to Saturday, August 2th, at 6:00 pm.  You must notify the race director by email, by regular mail (see address below), or in person on Saturday of this substitution.  Notification must include the substitute's full name, age, phone and competition category.  The substitute athlete MUST submit a signed release form prior to packet pickup.  Substitute athletes who are not USAT members must pay the one-day USAT fee if it was not already paid by the competitor making the transfer.

Refunds: No refunds will be made after Saturday, August 2th, at 6:00 pm.  Please understand that at this point we have already committed a significant portion of the fee in race expenses.  Refunds prior to Saturday, August 2th, at 6:00 pm will be made at the sole discretion of the Race Director, and will be pro-rated to cover fixed costs already committed at the time of the request.  All requests for a refund must be submitted with explanation for the request to:

EVENT FEES   Top
International Ironman / Ironwoman - $65 until July 22nd, $75 after July 22nd
Sprint Ironman / Ironwoman - $55 until July 22nd, $65 after July 22nd
Two person Team - $100 until July 22nd, $120 after July 22nd
Three person Team - $150 until July 22nd, $180 after July 22nd
NOTE: If you are a USAT member, deduct $10.00.  Teams may deduct $10.00 per USAT member.

USAT MEMBERSHIP   Top
All race participants must be USAT members or, if age 18 or older, may purchase a one day membership.  Athletes 17 and under must be annual USAT members.  To become a USA Triathlon member prior to the race call 1-800-TRI-1USA or register on line at www.usatriathlon.org. 

USAT Membership Fee Information:
The one-day membership fee for adults (age 18 and over) is $10. The bronze membership fee is $39 for adults and can be purchased with cash, check or credit card.  Please remember that cash and checks are the only accepted forms of payment if the athlete purchases the one-day at packet pickup. 

Annual members must show their current USAT membership card along with a photo ID at packet pickup.  If they cannot provide proof of membership, they will have to purchase a one-day license for $10 or renew their membership if they want to compete.

All athletes age 17 and under are required to be annual members of USAT.  They will need to show proof of membership at packet pickup and if they cannot, they will need to purchase a one-year extension of their current membership for $5.

All athletes are required to be at the mandatory 7:30 AM officials meeting in the transition area.
Allow time prior to meeting for race number body marking.
